The Suckcess Method© When The Urge to Chew Hits
1) Suck on the Life Sucker.
2) Learn to see yourself as a nonchewer. Add details to this picture to make it
more exact in your mind. Repeat to yourself as you see yourself: "I want to be at this place."
3) Memorize and repeat your anti-chewing mantra: "For my body, chewing is
poison. My body is like an innocent child. I need my body to live. I owe my body respect and protection."
4) Drink two glasses of water.
5) Chew gum and eat carrot sticks.
6) Energize yourself. Breathe deeply.
7) Think about something else.
8) Email someone
9) Find a stop-chew buddy.
10) Tell friends you are allergic to chew.
11) Use the energy in the urge to chew to power you to develop a positive addiction: jog in place, take a shower, play with a paddle ball, or drink a glass of ice water.
